On November 7, 2025, my partner Jill Ginsberg received the 2025 Outstanding Philanthropist Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Miami Chapter, at the 38th Annual National Philanthropy Day® Awards at Jungle Island.

Jill was nominated by the Pérez Art Museum Miami. She has been deeply involved with PAMM for years, and anyone who knows her knows that the museum is not just a cause for her — it’s a second home. She talks about PAMM the way some people talk about their kids.
The award recognizes individuals whose personal giving, leadership, and advocacy have made a measurable difference in the community. Jill’s work with PAMM fits the category, but she is also the quieter kind of philanthropist — the kind who shows up, writes checks without being asked twice, serves on committees without needing the title, and drags the rest of us along with her.
In her own words:
Words can’t describe how I felt winning the 2025 Philanthropist of the Year Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals. I am honored to have been nominated by the Pérez Art Museum of Miami — specifically Darlene Pérez, Franklin Sirmans, Jennifer Gibbs, Sabrina Flores, and many others. Special thanks to all who were there, including Francesca Nabors, David Shulman, David Kaplan, Jennifer Gibbs, Tish Squillaro, Mindy Solomon, Marie Elena Angulo, Ivonne Arjona, Kathryn Mikesell, Heidi Berghuis, Nuria Richards, Felipe Arencibia, Nicole Martinez, and Sabrina Flores. It was truly a magical day, and I thank everyone for the award and for supporting me. PAMM is a very special place to me and has provided me with endless hours of great art, conversation, and entertainment. Shopping too! I am truly lucky to be involved with the PAMM — as they say, I am one of the PAMILY.
Jill is board certified in Elder Law by the Florida Bar, one of a small number of attorneys in Florida to hold that certification. She is also, as of November 7, the 2025 Outstanding Philanthropist of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Miami Chapter.
Congratulations, Jill. You earned it.
